Hey, folks, my name is Alec, but I go by Dharma Curious online. I'm a writer, which means I rarely write anything and stress about how little I write. I'm a full time college student, and a full time caregiver for my mother, who is disabled. I enjoy crafting, animals, cooking, reading, writing, and word games. I'm a gay, nondualist, anarchocommunist, Episcopalian living in Trump Country in the US south. I like going to trivia nights, and I can often be found curled up with a dog link hopping on wikipedia.
I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi. Trek is life, and Doctor Who is fantastic. Jodie Whitaker was robbed, and Ncuti is genuinely good in the role. I play DnD whenever possible, and almost always go for Cleric or Paladin. Generally play 3.5, but I've been branching out into 5E.
I have ecclectic tastes in music, which is another way of saying I love most music written before I turned 20 or so, and I don't dislike new music, I just haven't kept up with it. John Prine and Steve Goodman are my favorites, but I'll always hold a special place in my heart for the emo rock of my teens.
